Civic Engagement joins the campus community in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by sponsoring the annual MLK Day of Service and MLK "Sunday" Supper events. These student-focused events are key pillars that provide opportunities for dialogue, direct action, and reflection.

The 8th annual MLK Day of Service continues Dr. King’s legacy by fostering the national holiday’s spirit of “A Day On, Not a Day Off" while also honoring the Georgia Tech motto: "Progress & Service." Participants will serve with community partners on service projects throughout the city. *Transportation is provided to and from the project sites.*

MLK "Sunday" Supper

As we honor Dr. King's life and legacy, it is important to take time to celebrate and reflect together as a community. The MLK "Sunday" Supper invites the Georgia Tech community to come together over a meal and engage in meaningful dialogue about the 2018 MLK Celebration events and specifically around this year's theme, "Actualizing the Dream: The Future of Nonviolent Political Protest."
